Bodies of missing students in Xinjiang floods found

URUMQI, June 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Bodies of four missing middle schoolstudents in a mountain flood were found Tuesday morning in Habahe County, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China.

Torrential rains hit much of the county Monday night, causing mountain floods which swept away nine middle school students on their way home from school, according to officials from the countygovernment.

Five students struggled to get out of floods,government officials said.

The bodies of the missing were discovered at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday, according to officials.
