China blocks former leader Li Peng from publishing Tiananmen book:

Yahoo! News :

"China's Communist Party has blocked former premier Li Peng from publishing a memoir aimed at cleansing his legacy as the perpetrator behind the 1989 Tiananmen massacre, according to a Hong Kong news magazine.

The Tiananmen Square Massacre is in the news a lot lately. Firstly it was a letter sent to the Chinese Communist party Politburo recommending they re-evaluate the Party's role in the massacre. Then we had Premier Wen Jaibao making an unprecedented reference to the massacre in a televised press conference. Now we have the Premier at the time Li Peng attempting to expunge his guilt and being banned by the government from publishing his story.

This will not go away and it is time for the CCP to cry "Mea Culpa"
